Maple Class Clay Cottages

The Maple Class were busy creating clay cottages recently as part of our learning about houses and homes! We took chunks of clay and formed them into blocks. We then took smaller pieces that we used to shape our roofs. We used some mark making tools to create the doors, windows and textured roofs of our cottages. We also had great fun painting them and transforming them into realistic Irish country homes.
